I have been working at ELIJAH in Stella Matutina for eight years. When I started, I couldn’t do anything – I learned everything here: baking bread, cooking, serving, cleaning, washing and gardening. I particularly enjoy working in the bakery, because when the bread smells, it fills me with pride. Without the social center, I would never have been able to work – my children are looked after, can learn and have a perspective. Today, my family lives in an ELIJAH house and my daughter is even learning the cello.
