Liliana Mîndrean runs the Paul Social Center at the Catholic Church in the village of Hosman. First she set up the Habakuk social center in Ziegental, in the village where she spent a lot of time with her grandparents as a child. She met Ruth Zenkert and Father Georg Sporschill in the Roma settlement:
“When they asked me if I would like to work with them for the Roma families, it was the best moment. I was allowed to help to give the children a better life so that they can eat at one table, don’t have to starve and can go to school. One of my greatest joys is when the little children learn their first words and one of them is my name ‘Lili’.”
