Raluca Moise

I’d worked before, but here at ELIJAH, I’ve learned a lot of new things. It’s clean and civilized. We set the table for the children, too, with candles, napkins, and cutlery. They’re not used to that at home. My husband and I have many children; they’re all allowed to go to the social center, so they manage school. I’ve only completed eight grades, which is too few to get a baker’s diploma, which is a shame. But I’m getting along at work. I’ve been here for two years and can already do everything. Maybe one day I’ll move up and become a boss. But I’ll stay the same, even if I have a different role. Since I’ve been here, I’ve grown so fond of all the children that I love them as much as my own. We’re all one big family together. That’s the best thing for me.
