Bigger heart

When I sat on the plane to Romania in mid-October, I could not have imagined what an unforgettable journey I was about to embark on. The excitement grew stronger by the minute. But when I finally arrived in Marpod, I was greeted by warm hospitality. Everyone welcomed me with open arms and I immediately felt welcome and safe.

My first day at work ensured me furthermore that I was in the right place. The people were not only friendly, but also professional and supportive. In the first two weeks, I started to settle in. The initial uncertainty changed into a sense of belonging as I got used to the new language and the daily routine.

The weekends were a time of cohesion and community. On walks through the hilly countryside, we all quickly grew close. The time in Romania was not only characterized by professional growth, but also by personal development.

I experienced a major change during this time: my self-confidence and self-assurance grew every day. This experience helped me to recognize my strengths and define my goals more clearly. I found out who I want to be and what I want to achieve in my life.

It became clear to me that in my future I want to use my skills and resources to help others. To realize this vision is the most precious gift I received here. I want to make my life meaningful and have a positive impact on the world. The support I received in Romania showed me, how important it is to be there for each other and to support each other.

My time in Romania may have passed, but the memories and lessons I learned there will stay in my heart forever. I am grateful for every experience, every moment of challenge and growth. This trip has not only shaped me, but also prepared me to realize my dreams and help others achieve theirs.
