House of hospitality
The centre of the ELIJAH community in Hosman is the Stella Matutina. Its heart is the common room with a kitchen and housekeeping rooms. The house contains five two-bed rooms for our charges, helpers and guests.
The children from the Social Centre in Hosman and Elijah employees gather here for their hot lunch. The table culture in the dining hall gives even neglected children a feeling of human dignity and recognition.
In the sewing course, girls work on sewing machines. They create bags and aprons and mend or alter clothing.
