Renovating overnight shelter (October)
With the help of the residents, we are renovating the overnight shelter at Casa Robert in Bucharest. Insulation is being installed, fixtures repaired, walls restored, and new floors laid. Up to 10 people find warm and safe accommodation here every day.
Raven dance (July)
The annual final concert of the ELIJAH music school was once again a cause for great joy this year. The children played music, danced and sang. Together with their families, neighbors and friends, representatives of regional politics also marveled at the children’s musical skills and joy. The Rabentanz unites and creates courage for the future.
Gardening in Bucharest (April)
Our Casa Robert in Bucharest is being accepted by more men. New ones move in every day. The household is managed together: cooking, washing, cleaning. Now, in spring, the garden is planted with our own vegetables.
A sanctuary for mothers (January)
Casa Nora is finally ready to move in: we have been taking in mothers and children in need since January. Here they can breathe a sigh of relief and then move on. Or find accommodation and work until they have built a secure future. They live in a community and are accompanied by our experienced ELIJAH team. We look after the children so that the mothers can go to work. If they stay longer, the little ones attend kindergarten or school.
